All very well unless your vulcan 7 FS is a few years old it's now obsolete for connecting it to a phone or tablet. The reason I purchased a B&G plotter was so I could have the MFD in the saloon and a tablet up top. This no longer is the case and if I want to continue doing this I need to spend 700 quid to buy a Vulcan 7 R. It's the Apple model of business. Here's a new update and sod you if your gear is four years old.

My club used to have preset marks but abandoned them for some reason. now we get a bearing and distance. how do I do this on the fly 10 minutes before my start? I'm used to Garmin where I can easily plot the course on my navionics app on my phone and it would be automatically synced with the Garmin plotter. B&G has overcomplicated such a simple technology.

Are the boat details used anywhere else important? Specifically the draft? I have a catamaran with a 1.15m draft but would prefer to never go shallower than 3 meters during easy routing. What is the best way to set this?

Do i still need a classic transducer on my sailboat if i install a forward scan?( Pearson 303, 30 footer, 4 ft draft)

My current experience is that when i push the shop button, it loads a black screen from where i cant return to the map screen. This is in multiple regards unfortunate, foremost because my chart plotter is stowed away quite thoroughly and 'demounting' it quite a hassle (have yet to figure out how to do that safely, perhaps an instruction video of how to dismount a flush mounted plotter could help?)

i am trying to back up my settings, inserted a micr sd card , and the Zeus 3 does not "see" the card. tried different Micro sd cards and same result. Any help would be welcome

I'm trying to pair by following these instructions. The system shows the 320 device. It paired when new but over winter 22/23 the data stopped. Battery now replaced and shows 325mv but will not pair again. Any thoughts?

When are you going to fix the MNEA 2000 receiving 129284! The setup works with a Zeus 3s, Zeus 2 and Furuno, but not with the Zeus S. Can you please add the performance values from a Hercules and Hercules WTP so they can be monitored in the Zeus S. Thank you!

The weather does not work, at lease in the USA. Someone at B&G should be dedicated at customer experience for the regular B&G users and not the multi million programs. Your software has more bugs than sand grains in a beach. Also the Zeus S has a major bug with receiving NMEA 2k sentences

Hello, thank you for the video. Maybe you can help me here: I have a sailing boat with 3 B&G W12 screens installed. One of them doesn't get the detailed map (Navionics) as the 2 others get it well. The navionics is installed in one of the master screen slot. Do you have an idea why I can't receive the detailed map on the slave screen. I have checked that all 3 deplays are visible on the network. thank you for your help

I have 3 screens B&G installed on a large sailing boat and one of them doesn't show the detailed map . it is a slave and the 2 others are maters, and they are all on the network. Any idea why one of the screen has a low detailed map? I have selected Navionics map on each of them.

When will Zeus S become compatible with ForwardScan ?

Where is the detailed operators manual it is not online. Also how the hell do you change and edit time it’s two hours out on my unit and cannot manually edit it or even find the time zone option even though it Aus set at your location very annoying unit I must say

How to update?

Hey, my v7 will no longer connect to wifi. Have tried a dodger and hotspot on my phone. Any tips?

A nice unit, but it has some issues if it boots and fails to find a previouly configured datasource on the bus, for example, if the other data source boots more slowly than the Triton2. If this occurs, the Triton2 disables the datasource and will not automatically pick it up again, even when it comes online or if the Triton2 is rebooted. This means to ensure you have all your data sources, you have to do a network configuration auto-detect procedure every time you reboot the Triton2, which is a bit of a pain.

Well done Tom another great video! Have you ever read the Brendan Voyage by Tim Severn? A book about how Saint Brendan the navigator from Co Kerry in Ireland. Tim built a replica Currach and sailed it to Newfoundland over the course of 2 summers in the 70's.

Tom whats your view on where to register? UK vat paid Cert, no country of reg, allegedly free to Flag where I wish.. what would you advise? Isle of Man? Want to Register in home town Ireland but afraid of tax and issues? Boat will be in UK for next 18-24mons

Haven't been on the boat much this year, but went sailing yesterday and no wind data. Sensor is 1 year old, San Diego, plenty of sun. Said Power [OFF], then in the device list, 0%. Did I just loose the BT signal? Will I have to do this everytime?
